Donna Aleman
Donna has completed coursework with NECI (Nuptials Essentials Curriculum and Instruction) as well as Austin Community College in the field of Floral Design. She has also coordinated events such as luncheons for 200, Father Daughter Dances for 500 to Weddings for 300. Her experience in producing events for non-profit organizations gives her a deep appreciation and willingness to help those who are planning events with a minimal budget. Her attention to budget and detail allows her to show her clients how they can have the event of their dreams regardless the size of the budget.
Donna has always had a desire to own her own business. When her daughter announced her engagement, Donna went into "planning" mode and found Kindred Oaks. Her daughter and future son-in-law fell in love with the venue, and unbeknownst to Donna; her career as a wedding coordinator was launched! Steve and Elaine Lincoln asked her to join their family as their on-site wedding coordinator and she has happily been a part of the Kindred Oaks family for the past two and a half years.
Since Ame Soeur Events is a family owned and operated business, quite often one or more of Donna's family members assist her during any event. Martin is Donna's husband of 25 years. He is the behind the scenes guy who helps Donna with everything from scheduling appointments, filing, loading gifts, taking down decor, and much more. Her daughter Rebekah attends events with Donna quite often, always lending her beautiful smile and helping hand to ensure that each event goes off without a hitch.
Sheila Hart
Sheila is the newest member of the Ame Soeur Events family and they are so happy to have her. She is a graduate of Texas Tech with a degree in Clothing, Textiles and Merchandising. She also studied interior design and architecture while attending UT at San Antonio. She is Ame Soeur's maven of design! The last 10 years of her career were spent in the mortgage industry where she was an account supervisor amd trainer to the companies new Account Executives and Managers. She was in charge of planning many functions for their office such as blood drives, organ donation awareness and all showers and birthdays, of course! Sheila is a very upbeat and energetic person. She has a keen eye for detail and does whatever it takes to make sure all of Ame Soeur's clientelle are happy and satisfied. Donna owes the Ame Soeur bride who sent Sheila to her a debt of gratitude!
